Miriam Ahmad is a Birmingham-based entrepreneur who founded Miriam’s Collection in September 2023, born from her personal journey overcoming alopecia and discovering the transformative power of rice water. Drawing inspiration from the centuries-old practices of the Yao women in China, Miriam has built a multi-purpose haircare and skincare brand that simplifies beauty routines by combining heritage botanicals with modern science. In just two years of operation, she has achieved over £712,000 in revenue, secured retail partnerships with TikTok Shop and Superdrug Online, and built a loyal community through her philosophy that beauty doesn’t need complicated routines—just a few well-crafted essentials that deliver visible results.
