Our Story
Why work with us?

We're Bilingual
We speak fluent start-up and fluent corporate. Most accelerators are one or the other. We’re genuinely both, which is why partnerships we build actually work.

We're Systematic
Innovation fails when it’s left to chance. We’ve mapped what corporate readiness actually looks like and built a repeatable process around it. Every time.

We're Entrepreneurs
We want the people who work with us to spot new opportunities and move on them. That energy is built into everything we do.

We're Unorthodox
We shake things up, ask the awkward questions, and challenge the norm. We value people who think differently and aren’t afraid to show it.
We're In It For The Long Run
We don’t make introductions and disappear. We stay involved through execution and build networks that compound long after programmes end.

We Take Our Work Seriously. Not Ourselves.
Ambitious about outcomes. Relaxed about how we get there. Humour, honesty, and genuine partnership matter here.

Event & Project Coordinator
Breakout Beauty & Breakout Wellness | Fixed Term | London – hybrid
About Us
Breakout is where beauty and wellness startups go to scale. We run sector-focused accelerator programmes — Breakout Beauty and Breakout Wellness and more — connecting high-potential founders with the corporates and sponsors who can take them from pilot to real commercial traction.
We’re a small team moving fast: sourcing the best consumer brands before anyone else finds them, building the events and programmes that bring founders and corporates together, and running the whole thing with startup energy rather than corporate process.
The Role
We need a hyper-organised, fast-moving Event & Project Coordinator to run the operational engine behind our programmes. You’ll be the person who keeps events, cohorts and projects on track – juggling multiple workstreams at once without dropping a ball.
You’ll work closely with our founding team, picking up day-to-day delivery across our accelerator programmes and taking real ownership from week one.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and deliver events end-to-end – accelerator programmes, demo days, founder meetups, corporate showcases — from logistics to on-the-day running
- Coordinate startup cohorts through our accelerator programmes: scheduling, communications, tracking milestones and deliverables
- Manage project timelines across multiple programmes and corporate workstreams simultaneously
- Support content and socials (bonus if this is your happy place)
- Liaise with corporate partners, sponsors and startup founders — you’ll be a visible point of contact, not just behind-the-scenes
- Own the admin and systems that keep programmes running smoothly — trackers, comms, scheduling, reporting
What We’re Looking For
- Genuinely into beauty, wellness and consumer products — this isn’t a generic events job
- Hyper-organised with sharp attention to detail — you catch what others miss
- Fast and adaptable — comfortable with things changing, and changing again
- Confident communicator — happy on the phone or in the room with founders and corporate execs
- A self-starter who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what’s next
- AI-savvy — you use tools like Claude day-to-day and look for ways to work smarter, not harder
- Admin whizz, love processes, Google Sheets is second nature
- Marketing background — a strong plus
- Social media savvy — a strong plus
- Prior events experience — a must
What You’ll Get
- Ground-floor seat in the UK’s biggest consumer accelerator
- Direct access to founders, corporates and sponsors across the beauty and wellness world
- Real ownership from day one — this isn’t a job where you wait for instructions
- A small, fast-moving team where your work is visible and matters
- Must be London based / hybrid policy
